Nissan Patrol 4800cc VTC 3km/litre (city) 3.8km/litre (highway)

These are in Dubai, not as much traffic as in colombo ... but just for your info !!

The Nissan 4.8 has the worst fuel consumption i've seen in any vehicle.

Well..i am not allowed to tell all that here, i had to sign a non-disclosure agreement with the previous owner regarding the mods, as everything was done by him, its a quite a quick machine, u knw.. :rolleyes:

In heavy traffic (coming from Battaramulla to Fort office time) - 10km/ltr

Outstation (16km/ltr) moderate driving, cheked by topping up the tank from Athurugiriya, travelled to Embilipitiya & back refilled at same place.

Yes. After all, a Toyota Prius begin driven flat out consumes more fuel than a BMW M3 driven at the same speed.

guys, if you have some time would you consider making a table of all this info sorted from most efficient to least efficient? I think it will be very useful for everyone.

Also, have you ever considered organizing a hypermiling contest?

that would be an interesting way to help people learn to have less impact on environment (and maybe save money), and also get some positive press for autolanka and its members :)

also it would be very interesting to find sri lanka's most efficient driver :) :)
