Toyota Carina CT210 (Diesel) idle issue

Pasindu Weerarathna

Question

Hi I'm Driving A Toyota Carina Diesel Automatic Car. (CT210) The Car Is Having A Very Bad Steering Vibration When Not Driving. When I Paddle And Get The RPM To Around 900 Then The Vibration is Okay.Recently installed engine mounts also but the vibration issue still exists.I tried to adjust rpm to 900 so the vehicle is really smooth but no one knows how to adjust the rpm because I'm having an electric motor. Please Recommend What Should I Do To Reduce The Steering Vibration.

Hi and Welcome to AL.

Sounds like the idle speed is too low,

take the car to a diesel specialist.

your car has the venerable Toyota 2C engine. Replace the air and diesel filters for good measure,

👍

TT.
