Nope - and he's not much a mystery man

That car belonged to the owners of the Meewella group afaik - The story i heard was that the car was being used by the son who was overseas and as such was only driven when ever he returned to the island on holiday

nice story, but i think fuzzo was looking for one probably around the same time you bought urs. yours is an automatic isnt it? btw i just saw on fb that fuzzo has rolled his scooby. did anybody notice that? he's ok but if that was my car i'd be in tears.

bone stock - i'd even go to the extent of saying its mildly nondescript for a privately owned Defender :)

defenders always intimidate other road users no matter how they look. a honk and a quick flash is all you need to claim the road yours. but what i'm more interested in knowing is how you get it around without a turbo. i was never quite a good defender driver myself. cos even though i realised the idea is to keep the turbo spooling at all time to make any progress, i could never work the gearbox and throttle well enough to stay in that band constantly. and sometimes i've literally come close to a dead halt because of that.
