DB9 2155 kg

Spec C 1270 kg

Lorry Vs Car

Then hw do we know its fast ?

wow a drag between a sti n' a db9....let me know if we have one....

ne ways...think da db9 does 0-60mph in 4.5-5 seconds...what da figure for da sti?

ferrari is sure quicker than db9...is it da f430 or da 360?

once saw an evo9 and a gallardo on a track n' da evo kept u wit da gallardo after some initial turbo lag....dis was a uk spec 500hp evo...

if any car dont race then how do we know is it fast or not and do u know in SL there is a Mazda RX7 With a Mazda Bongo Diesel Engine and another Rx7 with a Toyota Supra Superchage Engine and another RX7 with a Skyline R33 GTR Engine

So if the DB9 Race with Aravinda's Ferrari then we know what is the fast car otherwise we have to check the specs Touqe BHP n then decide what is the fast

let me get this straingt just ignore cars that dont race and add only Drag Cars to the Black list

errm, just thought i'd add my 2c on this one, I actually checked out that bongo engined RX7, (Red one with the Veilside Bodykit ne?) and its petrol actually not diesel?? and machang gihan, I also heard about an RX7 with a skyline engine, but not one with a Supra mill..... whose are they anyway? And I personally always thought that a RX wouldn't be able to accomodate a big engine like the RB or 2JZ's......

My personal choice for fastest car (from the little I know) would have to be the Ferrari Modena..... but perhaps the Silver Supra could beat it??? man i'd LOVE to see that race.... B)

I personally always thought that a RX wouldn't be able to accomodate a big engine like the RB or 2JZ's......

your right in the fact that the STRAIGHT 6 Engines specified are too long & too tall !!!

in order to get them to fit é firewall needs to be pushed back & the Bonnet needs to be raised & given massive bulges..

as a result é RX7 looses its 50/50 weight distribution which is wut made it such a great handling machine in é 1st place...

they may have slotted é engines in but dont quite see é point...

true.... but there's no accounting for personal taste i suppose.... btw, on the subject, perhaps we could do a poll of the Fastest 300ZX's in town..... wonder where yours would rank?

White RX7

Supra Supercharge Engine with Supra Gear Box

if this is as u say machan then é only Superchaged engine ever used on a Supra was in a Mark III versio in é 1980's - 1G-GZE - this was a 6 pot 2.0L engine which was not much to talk abt...& is said to have only have been mated with an AUTO box!!

if it isnt this then its gotta be a 4A-GZE...more fesible given its a 4 pot...

need more info abt those engines machan??

& is it possible that even é skyline engine is an RB20 ??

The NSX seems to be stock, but may be a well modified Subaru or Evo would do better.

hmmm given that those EVO's u speak so highly of r converted ones bro - é specs may not be quite é same né in comparison to é factory figures - in terms of weight n power , balance etc ?

Yeah I agree Conversions Weight less than the original car Eg. Original Evo III Weight 1260 bt as i know the converted evo weight abt 1200 n with Extra CF Bonnet and some Weight reduction will be ideal for drags

And the power to weight Ration is Equeal in the Evo III & Honda NSX 0.21 bhp / kg
