Interest of cars came from my father who used to own few Euro cars in 70s to 90s. Still have one memory of me and bro poking our heads out of Sunroof in red colour VW beetle and feel the breeze. p.s. good to see 2 fellow Anthonians here. And does anybody know about the Ford Escort. My dad sold it in 91/92. Dont know whether its still running. Love to see that car again.

Was the Ford Escort 10 Sri 1691? My dad bought it in 1990 if I remember correct, and it's still in good running condition at our home in kandy.

What I remember is 10 Sri 9006/6009 or something like that. Has this car being owned by late singer Mr.Narada Dissasekara. I think my father bought it from him. It was light apple green when we sell it.

It was light apple green when my father bought it. I think he bought it from a telecom engineer in Peradeniya.

Damn.. I recall all good memories with that car now. Still miss all the euros we had.. Don't remember the exact model but will be able to get from father.. Fiat, Buk Fiat .. VW and Ford .. they could've make a good collection today. Hopefully i'll be able to get my hands on a BMW 3 series soon.

Started driving da family corolla 120 when i was 12...unlicensed driver on minor roads for a few years...legal driver for two years

Car fanatic for as long as i can remember...current garage in dreamland includes an R35, evo VIII, and a 100-series 'cruiser (with the turboD of course)

First love will always be da beloved white 120 corolla though...under-equipped and under-powered it maybe...but responsible for my love of a proper manual gearbox and a lot of fond memories revving da nuts off da 1.3 trying to keep up with da bigger rides

Will post a pic when i buy my first proper car with my own money hopefully next year
