yep... wonder how offshore fishing in those areas are? :)

always wanted to do some fishing in southern seas.. never could get good enough contacts to sort out a boat etc :(

Prawn farm no.. but there are prawns in the river.. also big fish. Caught a couple of baby paraw on the last trip there, and a 4 foot shark once.

damn...pretty cool to catch a shark in the river :)

we've tried our luck too once offshore off wella.... penn 12/0 with 80pound test...big ss hooks... chumming with blood and the works but no sharks ever showed up... no complaints since we landed a big paraw and a seer tad over 20kg.... :)

but fishing must be far better in those areas since the commercial fleet mainly consists of large boats that exploit deeper fishing grounds and not deplete the near shore fish stocks

a brilliant concept!...

treehouse1ga5.jpg

It is an old architectural trick used since the invention of mirrored glass: covering buildings with the reflective material and declaring that they blend in with the surroundings. Most architects use it to convince wary citizens that it is OK if their building is tall because it will reflect the sky and nature. The rendering always makes the building disappear, and the reality is always a big clunky mirrored box.

But a mirrored box can be elegant, too, such as this treehouse by Swedish firm Tham & Videgard Hansson Arkitekter. TreeHugger loves treehouses when they are designed to minimize impact on the surrounding landscape. And in this case, it looks like the architects have pulled it off successfully.
