Went out for a ride with few friends on a local windy highway. This was about a 400 mile loop that we do once a month or so. Barely into the ride, about 10 miles, coming out of a right hand corner, the front end washed out. Hit the ground face first at about 80 Mph and slid for about 50 feet. I'm so glad I had all my gear on. Didn't get one scratch on me but I feel like I just got hit by a hammer.

call me chicken , but this is exactly why i stick to 4 wheels and insist on having more metal between me n the the tarmac!

...i take it your eye lids hurt after many post crash hours of silent meditation thanking the stars and all possible deities after what can be billed a lucky escape!

:)

....is this one of those times your wishing you'd stuck with the Supra?

anyways good to hear your alright!

:0 bad scene bro...

you bikers are really blessed though. I constantly find myself amazed at how, especially in moto GP, they take spills at over 200Mph, slide for a good kilometer, and get up, walk away and grab a sandwhich... fortune favours the brave i guess :)

curious to know if this incident put you off riding in anyway?

WOW DUDE, glad you're okay. Good thing you had sliders on there and that saved the bike somewhat

Yes. If it wasn't for the sliders there would be lot more damage.
