true that - not heard anything good about those

HKS manufactured is i recall right - but useless out here - the element needs constant replacing

Apexi, used ones are available i think, and a friend told me some guy sells new ones, gotta check. AEM, you could get online

There arent any cone air filters available for the maruti other than K&N.....But puttin a K&N for the maruti is not worth

Why not? Perhaps not a cone filter, but changing the manufacturer's OEM filter for a drop-in replacement K&N that allows the engine to breathe better should yield better fuel consumption. In fact that's one of the few changes I probably would make in a Maruti.
