Also, if Fuel savers really worked, they will be the next best invention after sliced bread and processed cheese.

But sadly, we don't have any 'Fuel Saver' Companies in the Fortune 500 or in any list of companies that are credited with having great success with their product or service.

Also, if such a gizmo ever existed... I think all the oil companies in the world will be not so be successful, eh?

I could be wrong... Mr. Wijesinghe might have such a product fitted in his Chana...

IMHO, I think fitting of these pieces of trash in to your car are better left for the idiots amongst us who wants to be fooled by a slightly smarter person and enjoy all the pleasure of the Placebo Effect...

Me? I just use compress air on the air filter and the tires.... Works for me..

But my advise to Uditha still stand.. FIX ONE!!!

So I am sharing. Fancy fuel saver gadgets wont work. You know why? Becasue they are inherently designed to fool people like you to thinking that it works. You can be fooled by numbers and graphs and testimonials... the ideal target audience!

Best fuel saving technique I know so far is to walk or cycle..... Or a clean air filter, regular servicing and proper tire pressure and over all proper maintenance.

You use your head... if they worked as miraculously as they claimed... would we be having this conversation right now?

Why are hybrids being designed? Why are lean burning engines being designed? Why are alternate fuels being designed?

If Fuel Savers worked, won't we be a happier planet as we will be saving the gas as well as the planet????

Please inform me where did you buy this product. Or any literature of same any web site. as I have done lot of other fuel saver systems which is on the web with average of 10 % fuel saving.

Some time back in 1960 Redlex UK had a system oil drop get into the inlet of the engine this was a upper cylinder lubricant this is not available in the shops now.

It seems my topic made lots of argument n all among u. But it was not time wasting as it showed us how each of u friend aware of Technology as well as

socialism, ur argument capabilities, talent of approaching other n all though....

So let me add a Summary:

1. Proper engine tune up is the number 1 regarding fuel saving. (No need to tell, u should b a GOOD Driver too)

2. After that, u may even try alternate techniques, like wht I mentioned in forum earlier. Preferably "Nano"

3. The number 2 depends on

a. No affect to valuable engine n all

b. U hve money in ur pocket

c. Re check ur economy. If it works It works

d. Regardig the results, according to ur comments, it seems this depends on vehicle, n all other conditions

e. It seems work fo some , not fo others

Since your visit to get some other repair in your car which you was offered to fix a fuel saver for Rupees 4000.00. Then you made any one had any experience on them and wrote to the Forum.

If i am not mistaken I was the very first to reply for your post. Some forum members try to show off and give negative replies to posts instead of sharing their experience

I read the web more than 6 hours a day and gather information on past and new improvements to Automobiles.

I have gone through all fuel saver Web advertisements Web forums test reports some are in favor of fuel savers others cannot get correct know how and they give negative reply's

Once again i Wish you very happy Motoring for many more years to come.
