Like to know about the duration between product to ship Toyota axio hybrid 2015 after placing order to the Toyota company Japan ?

I'm curious as to why you ask. Its unlikely any of us know since we don't usually import vehicles in that way. Most come via dealerships who are selling them ex stock via auctions. You maybe able to find out from Toyota Lanka by giving them a call.

Well I know a few exporters in Japan who act as proxies and take orders from overseas buyers, They place the orders at a Toyota dealership in Japan with the options/accessories, etc that the foreign buyer wants. Then the Toyota dealer sells the car to the "proxy exporter" who then de-registers it and ships it abroad. For average cars like Axio, Allion, etc.. I really don't see the benefit as sooner or later you are bound to get what you want and customization is pretty limited, but then again I am sure the people who do get it like that have their reasons. In fact, I recall seeing several adverts on AL saying 'personally/directly ordered from XXXX Japan".

@OP: People do NOT place orders directly to Toyota Japan (or Nissan/Mazda/etc...for that matter). You have to go to a authorized Toyota channel/sales shop and place the order. Different Toyota models are sold through different sales channels (there are 3). For a Toyota Corolla Axio you would have to go to one of the Toyota Corolla dealers (there was a time Toyota TECHNO shops also took orders I don't know if they still do).

As for your question. The only person who can answer that is...well a combination of people.

1) The Toyota dealership in Japan which you ordered the car from.

For starters only they would know how many cars have been placed on order when you ordered he car and how many are back-logged at that time, or if there are any special features on your car which takes more time than usual. So it is really hard for an outside to give you a "set" time. Also you have to factor in the time for the dealership you ordered the car at to prep the car, do the registration work, etc...which usually takes a day or two depending on the period.

2) The person who bought the car on behalf of you

This person needs to de-register the car, which takes about a day; then book shipping for it. When this person orders the car the dealership should have given this party an estimated delivery date which to my knowledge is pretty damn close to when they give it to you. The only time I have seen this get delayed was when the earthquake+tsunami hit Japan and when Thailand got flooded.

3) The shipping company

Once the person/party in (2) requests for shipping the shipping company will tell them when the car can actually be put on a ship for shipping.

So I would suggest you talk to the person selling YOU the car or acting on behalf of you and ask them to find out when THEY will be getting the car for you from the dealer (they should already know this if they have ordered it for you). As for when you can find a ship...well that will have to wait.

If by some chance YOU managed to directly talk to a Toyota Japan dealership and buy a car (which they usually won't do unless you are a person/business living/represented in Japan) then you should already know when your car would be finished which means you just need to wait and see when it can be shipped

Thank you all for the information I was searching whether single personal can import vehicles directly from the company

The Toyota company will not directly sell vehicles to customers and undermine their dealer network (some operated by Toyota themselves). You will need to place the order through a dealer.

The next question is whether the dealer would be willing to ship to SL. The answer is probably not. Its too much hassle for them to get the paperwork done. Hence this is usually done via a third party agent who will act as an intermediary between you and a Toyota dealer in Japan (since the Axio hybrid is not directly imported to SL at the moment).

I am curious....why are you so intent on having one ordered from Toyota dealer in Japan rather than just get one from an auction ?

The UK is funny and in a way more progressive in these type of situations. So you have to make the order through a dealership. But you do not have to register it if you tell them its for re explort. And depending on your circumstances (if you are a visitor to the UK not a resident) you can even get your VAT back when you export the vehicle.
