Beige Interior Vs. Black Interior

Hi Guys,

I have noticed even in same vehicle models, which has the beige interior has a higher market value than black interior. On the other hand some people mention that black interiors are easy to keep & maintain. Others quote that beige interiors are much suited for hot climatic environments like here in Sri Lanka. Above all, the personal preference aspect seems to play a significant role when it comes to selecting beige interior or black interior.

Would really appreciate your opinions on pros & cons, and overall impact of beige interior & black interior to a vehicle.

Like beige interior than black as it rich looking and pleasant to see specially on a family car.

But if it is a sport car, obviously black or other dark color.

Beige looks better.But it's getting too mainstream,everybody follows everyone.Sick of seing same pattern everywhere(Premio G superior with beige interior ).I like black interios for day to day living and beige once in a while.

Beige interior is a fkn headache to maintain. If given the choice, always go for black, or better, grey.

I have beige interior in my axio. I've been using the car for 5 years now. I've also had cars with black /gray interior before. The difference I experienced with beige interior compared to black is it feels more spacious and luxurious with beige interior. The feeling would be enhanced if you've got the teak panels as well. It's a bit difficult to maintain it comparing with black interior but if you don't have small kids and if you take a really good care of it, I think it won't be a big issue.

Its just personal preference, some like black some like beige. But our car sale guys usually jack up prices of beige interior cars. Personally I like beige interior because its more appealing than black but as every one else said its a headache to maintain. Black will absorb more heat than beige but I don't think it makes much of a difference.

The very first day i bought my beige fabric interior car it got dirty! Next day morning I put a black leather seat cover!

If u have kids a big NO unless its full leather.
