Hi Friends! I planning to build a car in Sri Lanka.
I have skills but don't know laws.
Can I register car builded by me?

I planning to build looks like  "fast & the furious 6" Flip car.

planning spec is...
 
piping frame

Recaro seat

middle Driver's seat

Rideing 3 people

brembo brake  or  other brake

2GR-FE engine  + super charger

6MT non-synchronous transmission

LED bar head & tail lights

straight exhaust

 

How you think this plan ?
Tell me what is bad to register? and what I shoud change?

Like iRage mentioned how about checking with RMV, those will be most likely the ppl who might hamper your project

You know how they operate,.. ..Better get a blue-print approved before prototyping,..else you won't be able to legally drive it.

Yes..go to RMV and tell them what you want to do...they should be able to tell you which department/s you would need to talk to which would lead you to information on requirements/regulations. Be prepared to run back and forth and in circles more than a few times.
