is budget your only deciding factor? you don't have anything else? 

the Vitz is smaller and under powered but newer on the other hand the Corolla (3 Mil -> sri lanka's favorite car 121) is bigger  older, and probably hacked to death by now but of course when you want to sell it you can do it at the bat of an eyelid.
