I have a problem in my Honda Grace since couple of days. When I remove the oil level indicator stick out of its compartment while engine is started, oil is sprayed up. I bought this vehicle about 1 month back but by that time this behavior was not there.
The most recent event that I can suspect as the cause for this is, I did an under carriage wash with high pressure (as car was trapped in a heavy mud about one week back).
Some local technicians say this can be caused by a blockage in a part pronounced something like 'Beater valve'.
Could someone express your thoughts on this behavior? My car's YOM 2016 & the current ODO is 31000.
What is the deal with the car market these days!!
I went to check on a Jimny, 2016 2nd owner and he's hellbent on 6.8mil for the thing,
approx 50000km+ mileage
Needs tyres, rear shock absorbers leaking and there has been an aircon repair as well.
(Approx 400k LKR in pending repairs making the total 7.2mil)
Whereas a brand new one can be imported between 8.2-9.5 given the grade and winning bid.
I ponder what the mentality is of the people of this country...馃ぃ
Nissan is bringing in the Primera nameplate back. I hope it's not going to be some boring crossover but a car that will have superb handling, good responsive reliable motor like the Primeras of pre 2000. I also do hope they don't go under and the Primera becomes their saviour.
