I don't think it's ever been done. Even soft-off roading a RR, it'll be quite the thing.Lots of room under the fenders for some nice off-roading mud-tires too...👌 Edited December 1, 2020 by Kavvz

The hilarious part is these Glory owners are now spending Rs.6000 to CarChecks for post-delivery inspection on a brand new vehicle.

Sharmilendran Sathiyamoorthy
Hey Guys, It's a time warp and it's 2024, A new i auto has been rolled out too, I'm an SUV / 7 seater fan, so far economically the DFSK i auto sounds good. Does anyone have an opinion on this, are their any good alternatives to go for when it comes to 7 seaters that doesn't cause a major hit to the wallets, brand new or first hand. Ssangyong rexton 2015 maybe?

Ssangyong rexton 2015 maybe? We have an I auto in the household. Not had it for too long but as a 7 seater SUV it does a decent job and is quite comfortable. Build quality is a bit iffy in certain areas such as some rust near the doors, flimsy AC vents, loud AC, dodgy headunit, and rattles on bad roads. Fuel consumption is abysmal in traffic. But if you can get one which is lightly used its decent value for money in today's context especially if you are on a budget and are looking for a 7 seater to haul the family around. Relatively cheap to service at the agents too.

On the positive side the 1.5 turbo feels surprisingly responsive for a heavy SUV and gearbox shifts are smooth. Breaks are a spongy but you get used to it. Suspension copes very well with our local conditions and you can thrash even on badly paved B roads with no issue.
