Ok My Friends..

It seems my topic made lots of argument n all among u. But it was not time wasting as it showed us how each of u friend aware of Technology as well as

socialism, ur argument capabilities, talent of approaching other n all though....

So let me add a conclusion:

1. Proper engine tune up is the number 1 regarding fuel saving. (No need to tell, u should b a GOOD Driver too)

2. After that, u may even try alternate techniques, like wht I mentioned in forum earlier. Preferably "Nano"

3. The number 2 depends on

a. No affect to valuable engine n all

b. U hve money in ur pocket

c. Re check ur economy. If it works It works

d. Regardig the results, according to ur comments, it seems this depends on vehicle, n all other conditions

e. It seems work fo some , not fo others

It would be worth your time to go and spend some time reading the articles on that site (thanks Az for the link).

It explains in detail how all the different "fuel Saver" technologies claim to work, and why they scientifically cannot do so. The author is an automotive engineer with a fair bit of experience. The site is a very good read although there is a LOT of info. Certainly worth the time investment.

Id suggest that Mr Wijesinghe reads it as well, but apparently its "useless know how" so thats arite.

I read the web more than 6 hours a day and gather information on past and new improvements to Automobiles.

I have gone through all fuel saver Web advertisements Web forums test reports some are in favor of fuel savers others cannot get correct know how and they give negative reply's

Mr. Wijesinghe, the verdict is clear. Many of us here do not approve the use of these fuel savers. YOu come to a forum to get opinions... we gave ours... if you dont like it, then do your own thing.

None of us ever prevented Uditha from trying one out... as the saying goes... nothing like a 'I told you so'.....

I told him that a few comments before and you got all huffed and puffed assuming that I had one fitted.. I'd rather pump salt water in to my tank than get fooled by these gizmos.

Let me get this straight; you want us to call the seller of a product and ask them if it really works? or do u want us to call them and tell them that their product is a load of BS...

And you expect to get a unbiased opinion form THAT?? it'lll be like the time that someone (was it Harsha or VVTi? sorry i forget) once had some substance on their windshield and went to a windshield repair place that tried to rip him off for 15k where the whole job was letter resolved by himself for Rs.200... Do you think if you called that windshield place the owner wont say that HIS methods and materials used are the BEST way to fix the problem? .................... sigh, if only i could come up with an example that might help you understand such a scenario...

Anyway dude, you really seem to be ardent on getting people to try out these Nanon Savers. Are you a dealer for this or sometime? Even some of us are fans of certain products, but we dont go to town praising them in every other post we make...

Not interested in saving fuel, Mr. Wijesinghe...

You and your fan club can fit Nano fuel savers around your car, wear them on your head, hang them from trees, hand them around your car, shove them up where the sun won't shine.. I am really not bothered.

See if any of those methods will work.

With all due respect, I contacted the author of fuelsaving.info two years ago inquiring about the nano fuel saver. After much analysis, he sent me a detailed email about how it does not work (cannot work). These snake oil gadgets are do not work, and if they do, the companies selling these devices would have become multi billion dollar ventures & vehicle manufacturer would have fitted these in the factory itself. So get over the illusion, stop wasting your money and stop promoting these useless pieces of crap. The nano saver is a piece of foil not worth more than a couple of hundred bucks, but it is sold for 4500 Rs! It is a crime!

First of all I thank you for your Honorable Comments and advice I appreciate that.

Please note I have tried all types of fuel savers the best I have found is Acetone adding to Gasoline or Diesel.

Yesterday I filled my tank and added Acetone.

I do not know members are aware for full tank of Diesel long distance buses in Srilanka add 1or 2 Gallons of Petrol.

This bus owners get my services too they say it is for better acceleration and speed.

I only want to share my experiments what I have done about fuel savers. Permanent magnet Fuel saver all so do not give any significance fuel saving. I want to try Electric DC magnetic Fuel saver.

Some members insulted me with all types of unwanted writing on to this forum instead of giving a Valuable comment like your self What they have heard of fuel savers they Write about my profession about my charges, how one person who came to me and I requested Rupees 15000.00 for his job which he did himself for 200.00 Rupees.

One member told me to go to competent Authority? I do not know to whom and for what.I send him a personal message to do as you say but he was a covered did not reply me.

About my Chinese CHANA van and that is a joke for them I must say I went in for Chana because it is a new van and the cost was 1.3M against used Japanese Passenger Van if I personally import was three ago unregistered 3.1M

Chana van has the Maruti Engine all Japanese parts fits to this Chinese Vehicle

At least Srilankan motorists must be happy that I am carrying on my Profession Which is very necessary to Automobiles without a break From 1992 for almost 19 Years.

Srilankan Giant automobile Glass dealer who came to compete with me closed up in three months. 10 years ago.

Three months ago another one of the oldest car Radio instrument dealer came to the market with my technology He closed up without starting. I too go to him to get my Auto Radio requirements.

I am not living with the income what I get from my Profession.I have enough wealth to live which my Ancestors left for me and my family Even today I live and support my assistants with that income.

Pleas pardon me for What I have written is not relevant to Fuel saver.

Just because you use big words and talk about your 50 years of experience when recommending this crap makes it work any better!

1- Dude you claim to know a lot about automobiles and automotive technology,and yet you chose to buy a brand-new Chinese van as opposed to a used Japaneses van.. I dont think anyone in SL would give you that advice if asked. So i guess we're all not as profound in automotive technology as you are...

2- How does adding busses adding petrol for more power even relate to fuel-saving?? are you just trying to show us that you KNOW that, or was that a subtle ice-breaker that buss-driver come to you for your 'services'..

3- Dude, cut the crap. You're doing a business, not a service. Deal with it. We dont laugh at people who do businesses. You're not the only one. As expected his email had several F-words right before the word 'fuel saver'. So I take it that buying a fuel saver is basically money down the drain.
