Yes !!! It is a Type 3 ! A convertible in this case..but yes a Type 3..

Took it from a local pic, seems legit as I saw two on the net with the same signal light.

I thought it was an aftermarket thing maybe a local fix done when it was not possible to source the correct indicator  - but here's another local 403 with the same indicator style

Weird name for a car noh? In one of my old motormags there was an old 1970s for sale and I never got around pronouncing the name until the name plate was bought back to life again.
