Guys thought of changing the colour of my wheels to gun metal grey or white, and thinking of a gloss finish rather than a matte and he car is currently sitting on some stupid a$$ wheels as one of the previous owners had changed the original alloys. :/

Would gun metal grey look better than white? I've attached a photo of the car and it would be nice if any photoshop expert could do some computer jilmart and change the colour of the wheels. :D

and btw, is plastidip available here in SL?

Cheers!

red is not really my cup of tea schiffer and the car is more of a purple colour, not black. :) now im thinking matte gun metal grey as magnum suggested.

If the two options are gun metal gray and white, my choice would be white since your paint is a bit purplish.

Komi should be knowing a thing or two on the places to get your rims painted/powder coated since he got it done for the new set of rims for his Integra.

Good luck! Please keep the thread posted on some "After" pics as well.

If its dark purple you should definitely go with gun metal. If anything it will accentuate the purple tone even more.

I had the wheels of my insight painted in a gun metalish grey. Pretty pleased with the results

My vote is for white or red. I have a friend who's selling a few extra cans of plastidip. PM me for details. He has black and ghosted Gray I think.

And the powder coating was a favour by a friend. Sorry but he isn't doing it as a business. If you're interested I'll try and find a guy who doesnit

If it were my choice I would save the money for now and upgrade the wheels to the next size up when tyres need replacement. That will do to the car what no colour can.

Thanks Schiffer, that does look good i guess. :)

As Magnum says gun metal grey will do nicely. Even a darker goldish look like the Subaru's will do.

Thanks for the suggestion gummy :)

The stock alloys look great but some idiot who used the car before myself had taken them out, unfortunately.

Wish I could do that GTAm, the current rims do look very stupid but I'm still a student, so student=no money :(

I'm partial to gloss white as well.

Thanks for the suggestion jaliya :)

I doubt those wheels would look good even if they were painted . If I were you I'd try to trade those to a different, much better looking set of shoes
