AC Problem in Vitz 2008

 I Have Toyota vitz 1000cc 2008 modle .Can any one give me the advice why my AC in the car didnt work at idle. It always need to go beyond 60kmph to cool the inside. Should i replace the Compressor.

If it what is the price of such a compressor for vitz

Start by checking the cooling fan operation with the a/c on at idle and the a\c drive belt for slipping?

If it cools fine when the car is in motion, then it's likely that the cooling fan is either not working or faulty. 

Open the bonnet, start the car and switch on the AC. The cooling fan should start to work and switch off intermittently with the compressor. If it doesn't, the fan is likely to be the issue.

But in the normal driving also it suddenly drop the AC and only the blower working, after few minutes or switched off and on the AC  again it becoming cooling.

Does your car IDLING speed remain as it is when AC is on (though AC stops working, when ur vehicle is not moving), if so it could it be due to some relay malfunction as well.

Related question about an a/c abnormality:

I have been trying to figure out why, when revving hard, the a/c cooling in my car drops. I have to turn the a/c off and on again to regain normal function (either by pressing the button or switching it off at the fan). I was reading something about an a/c clutch, am I on the right track?
