I went out for a 10 minute drive, and by the time I park & switched off the engine, I hear the fan come on & a slight hiss. Opened the hood to find out coolant being sprayed from the hose, near the clamp... quickly switched off the car and the spraying/leaking stopped.
Some google searches tells me the clamp might have deteriorated and that it's good to change to a screw-type clamp. But I just want to double check as I'm DIYing this one. Had changed a clamp in my bike's radiator before but this one sounds a bit different.
Nissan is bringing in the Primera nameplate back. I hope it's not going to be some boring crossover but a car that will have superb handling, good responsive reliable motor like the Primeras of pre 2000. I also do hope they don't go under and the Primera becomes their saviour.
