I had this creative 2.1 sound system for my pc, later i installed it in my car and powered it up through 12v rails from the fuse box.

Now its under the driver seat and i get a decent enough base from it.

AFAIK normal pc subs are much cheaper than under seat car subs, unless you want enough base to make your car bunnyhop something like that could be bought for around 3-4k. The only issue would be trying to fit one under the seat, mine was also a tight fit

unfortunately double cabs are not very audio friendly. on my car i had 6x9's at the back, alpine type r's.. clarions on the doors and tweets on the a pillars... worked pretty darn well for me untill i sold the car.

on the truck i have a bit of space behind the back bench seat for an amp/cap and only space for subs are under the front seats. Dont like active subs so only alternative is shallow mount subs. good ones from JL audio etc cost big $$$. So i'm still looking for a solution.

Got about 4-5 inches under the seat for a sealed box...worse case scanario i can lift the seats off the floor about an inch or two...

maybe two 8 inch or 6.5 inch subs from a good brand under the front two seats and the amp to be hooked behind the back seat...mids and tweets on the a pillars in addition to 6.5's on all four doors... plans plans :)
