does fuel injector cleaning fluid work well is it worth or the best thing to cleaning it at garage if any particular good brands in srilanka pls updates as lot of ads telling its good and improve performances such as fuel economy and emissions quality.

Yes. they too sell only Sinhalese shop in chemical business for three generations, Old Hendrik is no more at present, it is the third generation on chemical business.

I buy form next to Hendrick and sons. Because I buy plenty of paint products from them for my building painting all weather shield paints are mixed buy by my self and the cost is 25% of ready made paints.

You are correct it is a spelling mistake of mine. The street must read Bankshall instead of Bang-shall.

An update !

Too the car to Asnu Lanka yesterday , must say it was a great experience, very professional . The whole process took some time as I went a bit late but should take about 2/3 hrs.

He explained about the right way to clean and how injectors functioned as well. There’s heaps of info on the process in picture format at his place and also on the website www.asnulanka.com ,cost was abt 7000/- as I had to replace several O rings. The throttle body was also cleaned and serviced. Since the plugs were new, didn’t need replacing.

Results : yet to see the fuel consumption but there a much better pulling power , will share the fuel status during the next week.

As per him there are only 2 locations who has this equipment – D*MO & Asnu

now i almost emptying the tank and there is a remarkable performance of engine specially pickup and smooth so B*4*K additive is good but nextime sure i add pure acetone to check .

Bosch world renowned for tuning and also detailing engines. As far as i know injector cleaning comes to tuning category so Bosch is a proper place. and advice i like to give you guys, some local garages use homemade devices to pressure EFI injectores(petrol) don't ever let them to do that it also ruining nozzle and pressure valves.

mazdaspeed, have you experienced a noticeable improvement of pulling power? can we trust that they are professional like D*MO?

Unfortunately there not a huge gain in fuel efficiency , I have a feeling I need to do a proper scan and see, planning to take her in for towards the weekend. There culd be another issue .

The place is professional like D*MO, many other forum members have had good results, I for one am satisfied as I feel a big improvements in pulling power which was sluggish earlier.

I’ve learned that there are a few more places that use the proper equipment to clean injectors – so there are options out there but need to be catious I suppose

FYI, D*MO also uses ASNU equipment for injector cleaning. ASNU is not a local garage but a UK brand (www.asnu.com). It so happens that the guy in Talangama Koswatta is the franchise holder for Sri Lanka and he is licensed to use the ASNU name. That is the reason for the the asnulanka moniker (This is similar to forum member Sylvi, holding the official franchise in Sri Lanka for Novus.

The guy runs a small injector service centre but I have visited him twice and he is quite professional in his work.

Don't use any of these additives, once I used 3M Diesel fuel injector cleaner and it gave me Check engine light till I fill the tank second time.

"Any of these additives" is a too much of a suggestion. Because many in SL as well as worldwide use additives. Please explain your experience and just filling the tank made the check engine light disappear. Please mention your vehicle make and model too.

I have used BG44K; and have noticed an increase in pulling power afterwards.... and also the ride is much smoother.

However, I have not noticed much improvement in Fuel Economy.
