Two people were killed following an accident in Pilimathalawa
today, the police media unit said.
The police said that the accident took place when a car crashed
into a bus along the Colombo – Kandy road.
The accident had taken place near the Pilimathalawa tea
factory when the car had crashed into the parked bus from the
rear end.
The driver and two others sustained serious injuries and were
admitted to the Peradeniya hospital.
Two people succumbed to their injuries in hospital. The driver
was transferred to the Kandy hospital for further treatment.""
