I knowthey were taking orders for the Hybrid all the way in October...but wasn't sure if they were actually delivering them already. Mazda did make some statement about a probable diesel...but now it seems definite.

...at least that is what the article is saying, sorry the page is in Japanese:

EDIT: Just saw the diesel engine on the Axela's website:

They definitely are. They are claiming "It is offered in gasoline, diesel and hybrid versions, making Mazda the first Japanese automaker to offer three different powertrain types in a single model in the Japanese market"

An updated ZEOD RC was shown by Nissan back in October 2013 and now the Japanese automaker has disclosed more information about the conventional engine. It will be an all-new 1.5-liter 3-cylinder turbo gasoline engine called "DIG-T R" which produces a whopping 400 bhp (298 kW) and a peak torque of 380 Nm (280 lb-ft) and revs up to 7,500 rpm.
The motor tips the scales at just 40 kg (88 lbs) and according to Nissan offers more power per kg (10 hp / kg) than a Formula 1 engine. Aside from being very lightweight, the engine is also quite compact as it's just 400mm long, 200mm wide and 500mm tall.
Over the next four months Nissan will test the ZEOD RC so that it will be ready in time for Le Mans 24 Hours (June 14-15).

Mazda's HAZUMI design concept; supposedly to be the base for the next generation Demio. Looking back at the concepts and final production versions of the Atenza and Axela I think it would be safe to say the next Demio will look pretty close to this. The article talks about a 1.5 litre clean diesel variant (skyactive) but doesn't say much about the gasoline variants just yet.

So after a weird StarWars edition the Juke is getting a facelift. Although with all the camo it doesn't take much to realize that it isn't too drastic (I might be totally wrong here as I never did look in to the Juke with much enthusiasm).

Apparently on the 26th of March it was confirmed that the FQ440 (40th anniversary model for the UK) is going to be the last version update/revision for the Evo.

Lexus reveals its baby SUV (Urban Crossover thingy as Honda would call it ?) the NX series. It is based on the LF-NX concept that was revealed a year or two ago. The official reveal will be at the Beijing Motor Show so there is no official confirmation as to what the drive trains would be. Speculation is that it will have the 2ltr turbo changed unit and a 3ltr Hybrid unit that the concept had.Personally I like the lines a lot better than the RX and even the Harrier.
