2) I bought so called toyota genuine belt of the same from panchikawatta but mede in indonasia at cost 5500.

3) Also later i got to know that a thaiwan or singapre one is available for 2000 or 1700.

What ever it is . I would like to know what kind of belt costs 10k at the company , halfprice in panchi and 1/4 price from taiwan . :P . Hope its not the timing belt

Allion/Premio 260 has a timing chain. Toyota Lanka is notorious for ripping off customers.

Thanks asrock . :) well then certainly it cannot be the timing chain coz if theres a substitute in panchikawatta for 1/4 the price it might as well be some kind of chain made from a used bicycle chain :sport-smiley-004: .

The engine has only one belt for everything, so obviously it's more expensive.

Edit: Power steering is on a second belt. Just checked service history of the Vios.

Is it the serpentine belt? Different people call it different names. One of my friends once told "I have replaced radiator fan belt in my Allion" referring to the same belt.
