Better get those dings beaten out as well. and yes use this time to re fill tghe thing with new ATF

Well the oil leak could be due to a slight warp or a crack in the oil pan because the pan seems to have hit something hard. Once the oil pan is removed get it checked for these things before it is fixed back. Also one must be very careful in beating the dents because the pan material may crack. To me it looks like the pan comes with a gasket. Sometime the gasket tends to shrink over time and results in a leak. If the existing ATF fluid is good  just drain it and refill after fixing the pan back with a new gasket (may need only about 4L of ATF). In case if it is nearing the service interval then get the whole fluid drained and refiled (about 6L of ATF). For this the mechanic would have to either drain it through the outlet to ATF cooler or use an ATF exchanger.

Looks like it's the pan gasket that's leaking. A pretty straight forward fix. Take your car to a mechanic and get the gasket replaced. If the car doesn't come with a gasket, the mechanic will apply a thin layer of gasket maker and install the pan.

In any case, your transmission oil will have to be drained out first. Make use of the opportunity to have the condition of the oil checked and do an oil change if required.

When Did you change your ATF last time? Did you remove pan when doing ATF change? There a gasket in sump and as far as I know it is not reusable. Mechanics normally use gasket sealer after removing original gasket. If you have never done a ATF change your gasket can be warn out.

Seal packs not available for this. Gonna use same pack with sealant. Wtf.

Can't believe it. But not a problem as long as pan is not warped. If the gasket was in tact there must be some reason why it leaked.

When I said "warped pan" I was not referring to dents but to the mounting surface of the pan that meets with the gearbox housing. You can check it using a flat surface like a piece of glass. Your mechanic would know it. Also after assembling wait for an hour or more if possible before pouring ATF for the sealant to set in.
