Timing belt wheels

When we are going through a engine overhual of 4d56 engine, we found that it's timing belt wheels is warn out. Is it possible to replace it? And where to buy it?

The wheel which is rounded by red line is the one. This engine has done 320000km and I dont know the reason for wear off. It's kind of strange!

I honestly don't see anything wrong with that sprocket. It's just polished off a bit from years of use. Unless the teeth are broken or something, I think using this one is fine.

Agree with Davy's comments above. What exactly is the reason to decide that the wheel is no longer serviceable? Do you get fluttering noise with a new belt? or do you have an issue with the tensioner pulley adjustment?

Hi,

There was a irregular wear in the wheel. This new photo shows that.  Also I have uploaded a photo of a good one. My mechanic says it will effect in unnecessary wear in new timing belt and will increase the risk of breaking suddenly.  Thus wanted to replace. We found one in Panchikawatta for 3500 LKR.
