Not so much funny but there is something a bit strange in this ad.

BTW, can AL ads be quoted in this thread? Don't wanna break any forum rules.

So, it seems like he got hold of some extra door guards and decided to fix them on the dickey eh?

There's this thing called "Restoration" that people do to old cars. It does wonders! MD's TR2 thread is an example of such a thing

Yup, Canadian manufactured if i'm not mistaken, for export markets.

Yep but restoring such an old car isnt an easy task, that too an American one

American or not,Restoring any car ain't an easy task. Most of these export version american cars came with a fairly uncomplicated straight six engines. No need to be amazed by that particular car as lots of these old american barges are still running in the hands of loving owners.

Here are a few examples,...

Ah .. I'd pay a (small) premium for that - my favourite number. Wonder if anyone took the KY-6969 (not that you'd need the KY!).

Seems to be going OT but it is pretty nice to see some classics like those, specially love the American barges dragging their back along in SL soil,

Dear moderators isn't it time to open a topic to post classic car sightings in Sri Lanka

By all means, go ahead and open a topic, I'll move the posts and make it a pinned topic also maybe.

Looks like he got it from Damro :D

in his defence the little he's done he's done a neat job and not gone overboad. But it 'just isnt right' cos that interior was not meant to have the 2-tone, hence the not-so prominent and small surfaces of the panels.
