Hey!

There’s been a couple of posts asking members how efficient various vehicles are on fuel. And with the prices going up by Rs.8/= and with news in the air that it will go up again by another Rs.3/= soon, its getting even more important…

So what do you say we post the following details

Vehicle :

Transmission Type :

Engine Capacity :

Fuel :

Km per Ltr (city/long distance) :

Does anyone know the long distance figures for the BMW 520d and X3.

I’m looking for a comfortable safe cruiser for a drive 250-300 km at a stretch every week end so the kmpl also will matter. (Colombo - Trinco)

Econo boxes will not work due to comfort and safety factors.

520D long distance 10

i asked whether the figure you gave me is the combined(city + highway) or just city limit figure

as i said it depends on the driver, if u dont let the rpm run over 2 will wrk around 9

if you keep the RPM at 0 I am sure you can get more that than... did you try that?
