Shouldn't it be the other way around where you get better fuel economy in the city and less outstation when the petrol engine kicks in more?

last week travelled to nuwara eliya it does only 22km per litre coz climbing upto nuwara eliya but return from nuwara eliya via welimada bandarawela ratnapura colombo 40KM per litre.so both ways average around 31 km/l
