Thats actually not correct, contrary to poplar belief drum brakes provide more brake force than an equal diameter disk brake because they have more surface area. The reason drum brakes are slowly dying is cause of complex maintenance on internals and most importantly the inability to cool down the internal parts as fast as a disk brake as its in an enclosure. On long journeys where you would use the brakes quite often the disk brakes have the con, but in a situation like this a drum would actually perform much better. Also in most cars the rear only gets about 30% of the brake force required so having disks on the back wont make a huge difference in terms of brake force.

This wasnt the fault of the car, no car or braking system in the world can stop a disaster when an idiot is behind the wheel.

Its the stretch of road near the CF vehicle yard near Indra Traders close to the Mahiyawa Junction, look closely and you'll see the large billboard near the bus stand is branded with their logo and slogan. Look beyond that and you'll see the roof of the CF vehicle yard.

While I was heading for my lectures I saw this grey classic mini parked by the road, trust me she was an absolute beauty. Being a mini fan eventhough I was late, parked the car and walked towards her actually praising the owner for keeping her in such great condition untill I saw this same stupid hybrid sticker pasted on her rear.I was like wtf. Geez people do have weird tastes.
