For once I thought it was a 007 car, but it was a DB5.  Recently there was an article on Bond cars in TopGe@r magazine.

Yes a Datsun 610 to be exact, I first came across one in 2003 when I just got my license but was not prepared to put down money on that car at that time (Rs. 60,000/-) two years later I was driving a Ford Escort Mk1 for which I paid almost double the price of the Datsun. 

 

Could have got 10 times the money if I had it now.

Oh wow! However you didn't come out of it too badly though: The Ford Escort MK1 is pretty cool ride (I would say cooler than the Datsun in some ways).  Still got it @Gummybr ?

Nah that was sold almost 12 years ago. The Datsun 610 was not a collectible car then it was just another car, now the market has shot up.

You got to watch 4WD 24/7 channel on youtube the Dirty 30 they call it. The quad headlamps were changed to the round lamps by them when the whole build was done.

Somtimes you wonder why we cant do that kind of off roading here.

People are very knowledgeable on cars here. Only thing that was not answered was the Mercedes Coupe the others have just gone real fast.

My apolgies, I just didn't think we'd have any of the big ole Navigators in SL? I guess I habitually under estimate the resources of our lot! Certainly the capabilities of our 1% at least...Apparently the new Navigator offers better comfort than a MB GL. The seats certainly look the part at least!
