Honda Vezel - Auto Lowering Mirror Is Not Working

Recommended Posts

Hi Thanks Guys! interesting comments :)

Ill try what naheelja has suggests.. :)

Again i'm not sure how the cruise should work. Seems just click on the cruise button doesn't maintain the vehicle in same speed. Any toughs?

push the cruise button, get the car to required speed, then put the set button..lower one I think.. then u can marginally speed up or reduce using + - buttons on the right hand

edit: sorry it has been answered before

I am not against any new car owner here, but one of my uncles who bought a Vezel was quite upset when I rolled down all four windows of my G.Punto via the remote key.

:) it must have been a pe*is invert moment for him I guess.

you can do that in a vezel ;)

You Vezel owners just don't get it do you.

Have you heard of something called TOTAL COST OF OWNERSHIP?

It's purchase cost + lease interest + fuel cost + maintenance cost + insurance + revenue license + service cost + any other associated costs + loss of money when you finally sell the car

If you calculate ALL THAT, you will find buying a Merc is more cost-effective...

can I get more info on this? ill surely buy an old S class if u can prove me mercs are cost effective than vezels...

Sigh. And here I am under a self imposed censorship! This thread is literally crying out for some vesi action: How does the cruise control work? How does the push cat kitten pus start button work? Can I sell my vesi and get a merc? Are all good questions that need answering!

That's true. merc are different class. But we cant afford brand new BMW. Honestly i cant see any alternative solution around 5 Mil. compared to vezel. (not just because i own it) ,

You maybe not able to afford a brand new Merc or Beamer for 5M. But if you search AutoLanka there are some C180s and 320Ds and 318i manufactured around 2008- 2010 going for around 5-5.5M

But it won't be a smooth ride of ownership.. Germans are awesomely reliable, but when things break down, they get expensive.. Unlike new japs...

I have a feeling, if you took a Vezel to Stafford and asked them to replace a steering rack, it might get close to that as well

I saw some Proton head and tail lamps at Power Auto Lamp, Gamsaba junction. Might worth paying a visit.

There is also a place in Delkanda that specialises in Proton parts. I forgot the name but its on the left hand side when going to Maharagama. Wish I remember more land marks...

What is Jell mount? Please shed some light experts. Why those are expensive? Did Sri Lankans not find a substitute yet?

They are engine mounts filled with a special gel. Very effective, but expensive to replace. I guess you can probably find a rubber substitute (or somebody will make one at some point), but you are likely to start feeling engine vibrations inside as they aren't as effective.

Plus engine mounts are perfectly caliberated to take a certain amount of weight, and move in certain directions, so keeping the engine relatively stable, while absorbing vibrations. Replacing with something else, might have unintended consequences. Remember the engine is trying to deliver power to the wheels.

Thanks. Too late for this case but good to remember for the future.
