Reckless driving or fell asleep?

Looks like the bus driver had tried to avoid the crash as much as possible

According to a news report the car was speeding and another vehicle suddenly tried to enter road from left. Premio couldn't stop and turned to right opposite lane and hit the bus head on.

Japanese cars have not been crash tested with Leyland buses it seems,RIP poor souls.

This is a common issue! Some people do not know how to merge on to the main road especially when you drive into the country side

Sometime back an incidenct was on the news, an SUV came fast from a by road and stopped only at last minute before entering the main road, the three wheel which was traveling on the main road thought he would enter the road and made a sharp turn. Which caused the three wheel to flip, I think the poor soul lost his life.

Yeah I saw that dash cam footage . Here by looking at the damage Premio also could be traveling at an excessive speed I guess.

One of the persons killed was a school mate who used to play Basket ball with me. He had just returned from UK for a holiday.

This is why you stick to 60km/h or less on any road other than the highway.

exactly - it's actually quite scary driving on the long-distance routes specially when boys like these appear from bends and coming straight at you. I regularly travel on the jaela-giriulla-kurunegala route where that psd rover got sandwiched : on such narrow roads semi-suicidal folks coming at you at the next corner freaks me out

One of the reason why avoid that road is cuz it's just way too narrow and there's nothing much you could do in an emergency.

When the emblem gets stolen and you roughly remember what the grade was...

This is the classic sign of a vehicle bought by and sold by a baiya.

They usually do cheap paint jobs and more often than not, get the emblems messed up. They dont know enough english to even get the spellings right.

Yeah something happened before that was not captured by the camera. Maybe Vezel tried to turn and speeding Mazda hit it from side?

I think the Vezel tried overtaking the Mazda, and the mazda swerved to avoid it or something..

What made the Weasel flip like that?

Maybe the Mazda performed a PIT maneuver on the Weasel before swerving to avoid it

If you look at the wheels at moment of overturning they are pointed to left. My guess is it was probably overtaking the mazda and getting back into the lane, in the meantime the bus brakes and the Mazda hit it from the left rear causing it to overturn.
