2014's Most Exciting Cars

We havent' saved enough for that Ferrari, but that doesn't mean we can't appreciate a great car.

And with various manufacturers upping the ante next year – serving up an impressive range of both new and revamped models – there's never been a better time to ogle at the real-life Batmobiles.

Here's three of the best cars coming our way in the next 12 months.

***

LaFerrari (above)

If you like your cars fast enough to intimidate passing aircraft, then 2014 looks set to be a bumper year, with all the big dogs on planet car set to release their own limited-edition hypercars. Perhaps the biggest of the lot is LaFerrari, the Maranello marque’s follow-up to the legendary Enzo, and its first-ever hybrid, with an electric motor wired into a mid-mounted, 6.3-litre V12, coming in a run of just 499 (a snip at £1m a piece) for extra kudos.

Due: spring
Price: £1m (estimated)

McLaren P1

The much-anticipated McLaren P1 finally hits the road at the turn of the year, and when it does, it’ll be wise to stand well clear. Combining 904bhp, an all-carbon base with McLaren’s racing heritage, it’s no surprise to discover other-worldly speed and track handling performance, which sees the P1 move from 0–62mph in 2.8 secs. It looks like another confident step forward on the Woking brand’s plans for world domination.

Out: now
Price: £866,000

Lamborghini Veneno

If you thought the £1m car was a watershed, how about £3m? And if you thought 500 units made a limited-edition run, then how about nine? The Veneno Roadster is the latest part of Lamborghini’s ultra-exclusive model set. Borrowing heavily from the Aventador, the convertible Veneno takes an almost pornographic approach to body detailing and aerodynamics. One downside: there’s no roof. At all. Ever.

Due: mid-2014
Price: £3.3m (estimated)

British Human Rights Policy....

Until the mid-60s, indigenous Australians came under the Flora And Fauna Act, which classified them as animals, not human beings.
This also meant that killing an indigenous Australian meant you weren't killing a human being, but an animal.

The Launching of the Veneno was actually carried out a on a super carrier, making Lambo the first company to do something such extravagant.

Also, the Bugatti Veyron 400th edition was just out. 50 more cars to go, until the 450 quota announced by VAG.
