Haha. I didn't notice it was a Vezel.

These guys have an entire channel full of similar videos : https://www.youtube.com/user/Lomak1581/videos

And they are dead serious about stopping vehicles. There was a video when one driver points a gun to their heads. He still puts the sticker. And when drivers try to run them over they calmly sit on the hood while the vehicle is moving!

You have to have balls of Titanium to pull this off in Russia anyway.

A very sad situation for the importer (private individual import) where the vehicle was damaged during off loading and not covered by insurance. Reading though the article, my first instinct is to call the dude and tell him to sue the crap outta the Hambanthota Port:

http://www.thesundayleader.lk/2015/03/01/a-costly-negligence-at-hambantota-port/

I'd also like to ask him why on earth he spent his EPF on a stupid ass car instead of investing it on a home business or dropping it into an interest bearing deposit account....

Thanks for posting this. Much appreciate if you can repost it in Jaliya's vintage corolla thread. It is the deserved place for this advertisement. :)

By the way I haven't much seen model shown with seadan face here.

yeah the face seems different but the real looks the same of a normal dx

This was nicknamed the slant nose model <slanty>. The front end was predominantly for the export model Corolla and not the JDM Corolla; until they did a facelift of the Sprinter sedan with a similar front-end towards he end of is lifecycle.

So the kid is 9 years old. He's blind. He supports his mom, dad (educated n disabled) and his kid brother by going to school. And someone bought him a three-wheeler to goto school. But none of the people in the photo look like the blind kid. WTF indeed.

Journalism has been is going in the toilet over the years, but now language too. pfft...

On the topic of news items, thought this was rather interesting.

Surprising number of people still do not respect the junction box near the Lanka Hospitals gate on Park Road. Seen enough and more agaitated ambulance drivers and vehicles carrying patients in and out from teh hospital get in to difficulty all because some idiot driver has NO CLUE or ignorant about the fact that the junction box needs to be kept clear at all times. Sometimes cops are there, sometimes not.

Most of these accidents can be avoided if all of us take individual responsibility to make the road safer.

I couldnt agree more. And sadly there's no end to it. I've lived there for decades and as someone who has an ounce of common sense I keep the dam thing clear cos i've seen enough and more vehicles coming from baseline waiting to turn (and blocking everyone else behind him). But there's that f**ktard 3-wheeler (who overtook everyone all the way from shalika on the wrong side of the road) that nudge into the junction box thinking it was reserved just for them.

No cop in SL bats an eye about a Junction box violation, but over here if your vehicle is stationary in the junction box, you're f**ked. And during a DL test if it happens it's an immediate failure.
