Interesting engine setup through.  I can't say I understand it fully, but it looks like its based on GM's LS motor? I don't get it, but its kinda cool how they can get all that power out of it without it blowing up or overheating...? (Also uses regular pump fuel according to the article.) It all sounds so surreal...Maybe the Americans know what they are doing after all?

Also for the mini-version of the Tautara, which is coming later next year, they claim to be getting 800hp out of a non aspirated 6 litre V8? How? Mad-mad engine compression? ? If anyone can understand the voodoo magic going on under that hood please enlighten me...

Hey @kmeeg maybe KIA will have answer to your off-roading needs! (Although I doubt a 4Runner with an after market locking diff can be beat....)

Its an interesting development: Apparently KIA is looking to develop a ladder frame chassis off-roader? And it looks like they are pretty serious about it too? 

It will at least provide a bit of competition to the Nissan Patrol in the cheaper/cheapish alternative to a LC200 /LC300 in the Australian market I think.

Dang.. That thing looks bloody awesome. Would be awesome to see how the real one comes.

Kia And Hyundai is raising the bar every time. Absolutely love Palisade and Telluride. I'm little disappointed Genesis moving to small turbo engines. Wish they continue with N/A engines and beat Toyota & Lexus for reliability.

As for 4Runners you know they have locking diffs stock right? In addition to all the tech LC200 has 4Runners got locking diff too.

Oh gosh! I didn't know: I stand corrected then! (I thought the 4Runner just had the A-trac / traction control options available like on the LC/LX/GX470 etc...)

I thought it was just me. I too couldn't see the image when it's opened with firefox. I was able to see on Chrome. Let me try to save the image one more time and attach.

As much as I love to, they arent eligible to import.

Okay so SSC has pretty much admitted officially that 'there may have been errors'. Quite an understatement for based on the internet speculation / estimates they are alot slower than the Koenigsegg Alegra etc. So it was pretty ballsy of them to try and pull off a stunt like this and hope they won't get caught...How very Trump like! ?

Do agree, but in Sri Lanka when you say wagon they say hearse.

I've always liked them Caldina's, Wingroads, California's, Stagea's and the Avenir's but some don't like them at all. One of my old bosses was saying that he'd like to get a C Class Touring(station wagon) but he won't have resale value. Then the current boss was saying that he doesn't see the reason for a station wagon when there are SUV's or crossovers.
