Well...to be fair....it is a 10 year model and is on its last leg  Its expensive in SL because of our stupid tax system.

? I thought Premio and Allion is not “thel hinganna’s “ vehicles since they have average fuel economy..?

For sure it’s sad the tax system we have. It’s really hard to afford a car more than 1.5L to even a person who has a good monthly income..?

Of course it has an average fuel economy same as any other 1.5L car. The marketing is done by our car sales guys and thel higannas get attracted to it. ?

This has been making the news for the last day or two....Subaru is to recall nearly 530,000 cars for improper conduction and/or completion of vehicle inspections. Apparently, Suzuki did not conduct the tests properly (an example in the article is where they had tested the parking/electronic/side brake with the foot on the brake pedal...). Models in include, Imprezza, BRZ, LeVorg, Legacy (certain models), to name a few  (so it seems like almost all the car models manufactured within a specific period of time)

In other news (which literally was one of the top 5 headlines)...Police had arrested a man in Osaka for speeding. Well..the driver had filmed himself driving his R35 GTR at a maximum speed of 300kmph (he had wanted to see how fast a GTR can go) on a public road (late at night in a tunnel). The guy had disabled all speed governing mechanisms to carry this out (which is illegal in Japan for a road worthy car). He had done it at the beginning of the year and posted the video clip on youtube (because he wanted everyone to see what levels the car can be pushed to) which the police had come across. The police has charged him for violating Japan's Road traffic act/s...so he gets charged from speeding (5x times the limit of the stretch of road). Unlawful modifications of a car, etc....the poor guy probably won't get to drive for a long long time.

After watching some review I thought of giving a try myself..

Don't take seriously, I just did it for fun since I had some extra time. I did not have a script as it was not planned. Missed lot of info but not bad just for fun. Also I only have Windows Movie Maker so not the best editing job. Just watch for fun folks..

Depends...seems like there are several front ends...what you have posted is the US version...China has two...My guess is that Japan will get the one with the Hatchback front. Personally I kind of like the Camry like front end.

Just saw this. Well done mate. Also, what do you mean "don't take it seriously"? That's a pretty good review for a beginner IMO. Keep it up!

Pretty good review mate, I dont think it's necessary to mention 'not in English.' 'Toyota 4Runner Review in Sinhala' would be sufficient in my opinion

Thank you @Davy. I thought of doing this after my friend in MG ZS 2018 (Sinhala) ElaKiri review. I should have planned better to give better info. I realized I even missed obvious things like sunroof and cargo capacity. Didn’t have any phone mount to hold the phone to video inside while driving. Then I thought this will be a good start for those who are interested can search and listen to a proper review on YouTube.??

Carlos Ghosn getting charged for tax evasion and fired from Nissan (which means out of Mitsubishi too as he side stepped out of Nissan to step in to Mitsubishi to revive Mitsubishi). I personally never liked the guy and what he did to Nissan (true what he did FOR Nissan..i.e. put some cash in its bank account was ok).

Mazda released official images of the new Mazda Axela/3 a few hours ahead of its official release at the LA Motorshow.

No exact details of engine variants, etc..have been released except that there would be a SkyActive-G, SkyActive-D and SkyActive-X depending on the market.

That is very good looking car. Especially the hatch. I wonder if we will get the 2.0 skyactiv x here which will be ridiculously over priced or they will stick the old 1.6 mzr or previous gen 1.5 skyactiv.

Well..I think it is safe to assume that we will not get the 2.0L thanks to our duty structure and mentality of the car buying public (>1.5L they bonawa and market naha).

Exact details of the engines are not yet revealed so the 1.6mzr might not be even available for all we know.
