Yeah. Not sure of the whole story though. I wonder if he swerved to save an animal or something. Who knows. 

I'd however like to meet the flatbed driver who dragged the car on its roof and transported it upside down. Must have been smoking some serious stuff when they loaded the car.

It's possible the gate acted like a spring and returned some of the kinetic energy back at the moment when the car was tilted on 3 wheels...Certainly a bit of bad luck there, as if it didn't topple over it wouldn't have been too bad: A mangled bumper and a radiator replacement at most I figuare...

It is said the car depreciates 30% as you leave the lot; but this takes it to another level ! ?

Waiting for @matroska to post the next 'Quick Trivia' challenge is like watching this guy tear down his Subaru engine to learn why Subaru engines fail...painful and long!  Just kidding @matroska, take your time and give us a good one... 

@AVANTE : The last one was pretty tough! Nice work. (I was dead certain it was a Renault Dauphine, I kept looking at the picture to make sure that was a proper front radiator grill and not some trim piece!  )

@Kavvz ditto that - It was the lack of a second light (parking & turn indicator) that stopped me from going with the Dauphine

Then there was the matter of the light itself - looked like something from a British Leyland parts bin but I didn't even consider Standard - good job @matroska

Right! @Devinda_Z ! Those parking lights added to the mismatch~! Quite the brain teaser. @matroska you'll have to walk us through what made you hit on the answer!

All was not lost though. While googling for closer views on the Dauphine I did come across an interesting build. I am not sure if the classic car purists would take offence at it; but it did tickle my fancy quite a bit and it made me wonder if anyone here in SL has done anything similar using a vehicle more common to us that wouldn't be such a sin to cut up ?

Aren't there a few Minis, Lancers, Galants and even a Cortina or Corona mark II done up like that? I like that approach. Modern racing gadgets on an old shell. Speaking of, have you watched this:

@AVANTE:  You're right. There are some decent builds... Now that you mention it I do recall seeing some Fords that were done up well. (A rather nicely restored Ford Escort comes to mind, not sure if it was featured here or on an associated site, I'll have to go google it...)

Also thanks for the link! Haven't seen it before and it looks good...
